Do you want to learn more about the Business Analyst profession in IT and boost your skills in this direction? Then, we invite you to participate in the Business Analysis Program! This educational program is a great opportunity to gain up-to-date knowledge and practical experience needed to start a career in business analysis in IT.
Register by May 1, 1:00 PM. Training starts on May 15 and lasts for 3,5 months.
Study format: self-study materials with homework checks, regular workshops and Q&A sessions.
The program consists of two stages, after successful completion the best graduates will have the opportunity to pass the interview and join the EPAM Ukraine team as business analysts.
What is required for training:
- English level from Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
- Analytical thinking and good communication skills
- General understanding of the IT industry
- Ability to learn quickly and work with a team
- Presentation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Desire to dive deep into tech aspects of the software development process
Nice to have:
- Basic understanding of Business Analysis in IT
- Working experience in FinTech, e-commerce, Life science & Healthcare, Business process automation, banking, finance, Big Data, or Insurance
- Previous experience with BA-related tasks will be a plus
How to get started?
- Register on this page. Fill in all the required fields, attach your CV and receive a confirmation on your email or in the notifications section.
- Take the English test before May 1. It will be available in your profile on training.epam.ua after registration.
- Complete the Survey within 5 days after registration, but no later than the registration closes. You can find the test in your profile or on the website examinator.epam.com.
- Expect an email from our team with selection results and an invitation to the group.
- Enjoy your learning and do your best to continue your journey with EPAM.
What will you learn?
Stage 1 of the program lasts 1.5+ months. It involves self-study and Q&A sessions with trainers. Online sessions will occur in the evenings outside regular working hours. Plan to spend near 2 hours per week for in-person online sessions and set aside dedicated time for self-study.
During this stage, you'll cover project fundamentals, IT project delivery, project roles and responsibilities, and the typical tasks of a business analyst. You'll also gain insights into identifying stakeholders and effective collaboration for project success. The stage includes modeling and prototyping, focusing on creating various types of requirement documentation, especially user stories.
Stage 2 lasts about 2 months and provides a hands-on experience centered around engaging with stakeholders, addressing their issues and requirements, and creating business analyst documentation. In this phase, you will collaborate with trainers who will act as stakeholders, presenting specific scenarios for you to grasp their needs. Your tasks will involve communication with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, validating them, and creating business analyst documentation. During this process, you will receive continuous guidance and support from the trainers.
After successful completion of this stage, the best graduates will have the opportunity to pass technical interviews and join the EPAM Ukraine team as junior business analysts.
